About the George Bailey Orchestra
For duty and humanity! ...
The George Bailey Orchestra hails from Elmira, New York
and is signed to the New York History Review record label.
The ten-member band is steeped in Old Tymey music from before from the 1923. We make really good use of public domain music. There's no mistaking the George Bailey sound an unusual combination of various guitars, fiddles, a tuba or two, conga drums, and many unexpected instruments such as Gorham silver forks and vintage sleigh bells.
We are a tight band of musicians that can make people dance, dogs howl, and teenagers leave the room.
You will be tapping your feet and occasionally laughing. Yes, we are that good!
